Rinne leads Nashville over St. Louis
Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Pekka Rinne made 18 of his 41 saves in the third period, as the Nashville Predators took down the St. Louis Blues, 3-1.
Rinne is in the midst of a personal 11-game win streak and hasn't lost since January 5. He has allowed two goals or less in all but one contest over his current win streak.
Martin Erat had a goal and two assists for the Predators, who have won all four of their meetings with St. Louis this season. Sergei Kostitsyn and Mike Fisher also lit the lamp.

Reimer's 49 stops carries Leafs to shutout win over Sens
Ottawa, ON (Sports Network) - James Reimer stopped 49 shots for his third shutout of the season as the Toronto Maple Leafs took a 5-0 win over the Ottawa Senators.
Tyler Bozak and Phil Kessel each posted a goal and two assists for the Maple Leafs, who have won four of their last five. Cody Franson added a goal and an assist.
It was the second straight shutout for Reimer, who blanked Pittsburgh, 1-0, on Wednesday.
"It's obviously a lot of fun," Reimer said. "I wish I could take credit for it, but the guys played unbelievable tonight. Our D-men played great, boxing guys out."

Stars down Wild in SO
Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Jamie Benn scored the winner in the shootout as the Dallas Stars took a 2-1 win over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.
In the second round, Benn cut out to the right before coming back to the middle and snapping a wrister into the left side of the net past Niklas Backstrom.
Jared Spurgeon had the last chance for Minnesota, but Kari Lehtonen made a stop on the wrister for the win.
Mike Ribeiro scored the lone goal for the Stars, who have won three of four. Lehtonen made 33 saves in the win.

Nugent-Hopkins returns, carries Oilers to SO win over Red Wings
Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins netted the game-winning goal in the sixth round of the shootout, sending the Edmonton Oilers to a 5-4 win over the Detroit Red Wings at Rexall Place.
Nugent-Hopkins, who returned to the lineup for the first time since suffering a left shoulder injury on January 2, picked up the puck at center ice and went in deliberately on Wings goalie Joey MacDonald. Nugent-Hopkins faked forehand- backhand and fired a quick wrist shot to the blocker side of MacDonald.
